PH-BFR
6 December 2017 was the day that the 2nd aircraft for AELS landed at the airport. This time a Boeing 747-400 combi with previous owner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. A Boeing 747 combi aircraft is a plane with room for passengers and in the back of the plane there is space for cargo only.
The 747-400 combi aircraft was delivered to KLM on 14 January 1994 and operated her whole life for the airline until being withdrawn from use on 28 October 2017.
The aircraft was stored at EHTW from 6 December 2017 till August 2018.
HB-JMK
On 27 April 2017, an Airbus A340-313 registrated as HB-JMK with MSN 169, previously owned by Swiss was ferried from ZRH to ENS for partout and scrap. This was the first aircraft for AELS to be disassembled on Twente Airport since they had closed their base on Woensdrecht (WOE).
In 1997, the aircraft was first delivered to Austrian Airlines, and operated for them until being moved to Swiss in December 2007.
The aircraft was stored at Enschede Twente Airport from 27 April 2017 till September 2017.
